just out of curiosity, when you see my name "jollybutdepressed" or even my real name, what is the first thing that pops into your head? Or how do you feel when you see my name?
 --for those who don't know me, thanks for reading :-)

i think ...oooh someone just like me...a pretty package on the outside but oh so sad on the inside....Now i know it is a very caring person...someone i would like to meet in person if i could someday...and now when i see the name i smile...and hope you are doing okay.

I seem to block out the "butdepressed" part and just stick with jolly. I hope that you are feeling more jolly than depressed and know that is how I want to feel.

Well, When I see the name and the post, I start wondering, hmm, what's going on in her life right now, because every so often, she asks this question?

I see a paradox that morphs into an image of someone lost and confused, hopeful but not expecting anything to materialise. But I also see someone very likable

Hi Jolly!
I think the first part of your name suits you best, because you so seldom sound depressed. You're very caring and cheerful whenever I chat, and the "butdepressed" doesn't seem to fit because it doesn't describe the you I know! |

I agree with other posts on here. When I think of JollybutDepressed I think of a paradox between happiness and sadness. I also often leave out the "butDepressed" part because it just doesn't describe you. You will always be JOLLY!!!!!! to me.

I think "I should see what jolly is up to and how she is doing." I don't pay much attention to the -butderpressed part either. B/c i see you trying to be jolly and stay up beat.
