How is everyone's Easter going?

I'm behind on my school work, so I'm spending some quiet time trying to catch up on that.

Easter always makes me think about my family members who have already gone Home. I'm glad for them, sad for me to be here without them.

Thankfully, I still have my husband here with me, although he's not as strong as he used to be, except for his strong will. Do husbands ever agree with wives?

Best wishes to everyone ~

EJ

Hello, quiet time and catching are good even if not ideal.

Put another way, do wives ever agree with husbands?

Hi EJ,

My Easter is going wonderful for me. I have left my Church long ago, feeling quite irreconcilable on many issues and levels. But my mom is visiting, so I have been taking her to church, and was with her this morning. I let go of old angers and let myself enjoy the events, watch, feel and listen, and it was very good. Feel was especially good, what a different atmosphere!

Good to see you here EJ....have been thinking about you lately & wondering how everything is going?

Had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday also. One of the older ladies in our church had her birthday today & when I visited her in the hospital last winter when she had knee replacement....she told me how much she always liked peanut butter cookies & tea....it was something she always enjoyed with her mother.....so I made her a batch of peanut butter cookies & took them to church to give to her for her birthday present.

Then I went to get 3 pretty plants to give to the family I had Easter dinner with.....the friend that I was riding with when I fell & fractured my back last month....ouch. We had a wonderful dinner & then watched a movie in their home theater in the basement....good place to be with all the tornado warnings we have been having here these last few days.....ugh.

It was a beautiful day filled with wonderful feelings for what Resurrection Sunday is all about it was definitely a very bright day in spite of all the rain
