And where are you?

"Bright, vibrant car colors such as yellow, green, and orange may look exciting, but according to the study, U.S. customers on the coasts and customers in most European countries prefer the classic core colors such as white, black, silver, and gray."

My car is a weird pale green, best described as "pistachio". It is so far from my first choice it's not even funny. My favourite car colour is red, and I've always owned red cars. Then I was in a serious car crash and totalled my brand new red car. I was unemployed at the time, so didn't want car payments, and I got a great deal on a used 06 Hyundai Elantra with only 49K on it. I love everything about the car except the colour, which makes me cringe everytime I see it. At least it's easy to find in parking lots.

My current one is hunter green, shows everything and gets so much hotter in the interior. I actually prefer white, for safety too; it's more visible.

Forest green with dings in the front bumper where I drive into the lawnmower in the garage. Move the mower? What? And be without the dings? They add character.

I've had a grey car. My last one was white. But after I totalled it, I went to a car lot to look at Ford Fusions. There were some tame-colored ones there, but I was drawn to the cherry red, sporty one, and I ended up driving it home! Okay, I might be having a late mid-life crisis, but it is a fun to drive!

Silver, not by choice, but affordablity. I love to have the Ford new car in the leaf green, Small, sporty, easy to see, and can pay half the gas to go the same places I go with my huge sliver Le Something. My, last car died just before X-mas, no money for what I want. The first car I cold pay in full that My mechanic approved, I bought. I really wanted a red ford fustion same price but my mechanic nexed it, newer, small but he said no ballon things, the engine showed hard wear, thought it might have been in a crash with no pillow things. That was the only afordable small car, but mines all paid for and my insureance went down, so I'll take the siver and be an over the pond personality!!

My car is grey with a grey interior. It is a convertible which is something I wanted all my life and I finally realized I should buy it now before my life ends. I love my car.

Mine's hunter green. 10 y.o. I'm still getting used to the fine film of dirt that seems to coat everything in Chicago.

Mine is blue-green, and I got it because that is the color that the (used) car I was buying came with. It is considerably hotter in the summertime than my old beige one was.

Speaking of hot cars, do you remember the old wing windows that you could turn to funnel air into your car, or the hood scoops to do the same? Not all changes are for the good.

My car is silver, but the one I replaced was maroon. But then they have been used cars and I haven't really been able to choose the color. I don't know what I would if I could. I liked my parent's plum and blue cars growing up. So I might go for those.

I have that Dodge truck "blue".....painted my horse trailer to match. Love my 1500 truck...it's really fun to drive.

I have had 16 cars in my life starting when I was 16 - 58 unfortunately, my husband totaled 3 of them & 2 were stolen (one of the stolen ones was his car when we got married..the other one was the car I had when we got married).

1)Started with a green 1949 VW (stick shift)

2)1964 tan Mercury Comet

3)1964 VW I painted metallic brown with a sun roof stick shift (stolen & found shot up a year later a few years after I got married in 1975)

4)1969 Turquoise Ford Fairlane 500 (my husband's car when we got married....stolen & stripped a couple of years after we were married right before my VW was stolen)

5)1975 Fiat 131 orange stick shift (lol, the stick shift kept falling off when I shifted after I bought it)

6)1979 blue & white stick shift Dodge aspen

7)1981 tan Toyota corolla Station wagon stick shift (husband totaled it when the tire blew on the freeway & he rolled it on the fast lane of the I-5 Freeway in California rush hour traffic)

8)1982 brown toyota corolla liftback stick shift (my husband's brother totaled this car after buying if from us a few years later, fell asleep & drove it off the road onto the Marine base near San Diego while they were doing tank manuvers )

9)1984 black & gold Chrystler Conquest turbo stick shift (wow was that fun to hit the turbo as I passed the highway patrol when they had someone stopped along the freeway.....it loved to go 100mph & it talked to me too)

10)1990 silver Nisson 240SX stick shift (another talking car)

11)1992 light blue Toyota Supra stick shift (I loved this car the best of all.....again another car my husband totaled...skidded of off the road on a rainy day)

12)1994 Jeep Cherokee maroon stick shift 4x4 (bought it right before driving to Banff Canada for a ski vacation...I drove so my husband wouldn't total it)

13)1997 Jeep cherokee Red stick shift 4x4 (another vehicle my husband managed to total in the rain when he rear ended the car in front of him coming to a stop at a stop light)

14)1994 Ford Escort liftback turquoise stick shift (left this with my husband)

15)1989 Chevy Cutlass automatic (inherited it from my Mother....(left it with my husband & we turned it in for money as they wanted those older cars OFF THE ROAD)

16)2005 blue Dodge 1500 quad cab truck V8...my first automatic vehicle...couldn't get it in a stick shift as I bought it used in 2007.

& my 2007 RED Lawn tractor....get to ride it around my farm
