Mid-grade is $3.65 right now. Not too bad I guess.

I paid $1.35/litre for lowgrade yesterday - sorry don't know how to convert litres to gallons, all I know it cost over $60 to fill up my Elantra. Not happy.

It takes 4 liters to make just over a gallon of US.
Imperial gallons, as measured in GB are larger than US gallons.

1 Liters = 0.26417205263729593 Gallons
4 Liters = 1.0566882105491837 Gallons

5 Liters = 1.0998457866628073 Gallons (Imperial)
1 Gallon = 0.8326738394033515 Gallons (Imperial)
1 Imperial Gallon = 1.2009504234173434 Gallons

I paid

March 1 $3.459 gal
March 31 3.659
April 11 3.799
April 25 3.819

But that isn't the only issue for me... they've done something TO the fuel, as I was obtaining 19-24 mpg (depending on how heavy the vehicle was) and this last fill up, with normal weighting and regular driving, I only got 15 mpg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I didn't have other things to do, I'd be notifying (read COMPLAINING) to the local investigator.

I think there is different processing of the gas between the winter & the Spring/summer gas....that was what happened in California when I used to live there.

SunnyD.....I had to chuckle at myself when I was scrolling down your picture......saw the ARM.....then saw the LEG....thought the next was going to be BODY (not BOTH)

I haven't bought gas since it was $3.75/gallon for the low grade (cheap stuff).....which is NOT CHEAP anymore.....just cheap in quality!!!!.

It hurts because my truck only gets 12mpg at best & when I haul my horse trailer, it gets 10mpg....only have 25 gallon tank. I always fill my 5 gallon gas can to carry along with me because I can never make it until the end of the month on one tank of gas & I am usually OUT of money by the end of the month so either go NOWHERE or have my extra gas for emergencies like this week when I have to go to the Dr's in the city this FRIDAY.....grrr. Last month was the same & I had to have someone drive me to the pharmacy to pick up my med. Glad for me that I felt ok asking for the drive because I loaned my horse trailer without charging.....think trading can come in handy the way things are going lately.

I end up spending way over $100 for gas each month....am definitely cutting down on my driving even though I don't feel like I go anywhere anyway. It's getting very aggravating!!!!!!!.

My car has a premium fuel requirement, so I am stuck with just a hair over 4.00. Luckly the old bird still gets respectable (25-29) for a big car with a V6 and 132,000 miles on the odometer

I know the gas situation is no fun for anyone and a major hardship for many of us here. At least we are not paying European prices (not yet anyway)

Hey JD, you may want to see if the gas you are using has an Ethanol additive, if so and you have an older car, it will likely be the culprit of your gas mileage problem. You may also want to take your car to a trusted mechanic, there maybe something else at work too that may be running an OBD can catch.
Thanks for this!

Paid $3.69 for regular today. I don't go many places besides school so I don't have to fill up too often.

I paid $4.37/gallon for REGULAR yesterday in San Diego County, CA.

I'm seriously thinking of buying a horse and buggy.

I am thinking maybe --a bike--ugh--it's awful--would love a horse and buggy though!!!

Still would be cost prohibitive to put in the additional up front payments for horse, and hay, and stable, and oh you know!!!

A bike makes sense, except for shopping........there's a Golf Cart place up the road from me--but electricity is sooo high--then you have the winter months

It's rough.....still don't know how I'll afford insurance in the Fall, plus inspection, plus
registration; given my enormous rent--thankful that the car is paid for--always could be worse-right?

I'll do a Scarlett O'Hara--I'll think about it tommorrow, yup.

Some people here are using their horses now not just for pleasure: I saw three yesterday, two carriages outside a grocery store and 1 team outside a bank. Yea, for the original horse power. Not an option for me though.

I have been seeing more Vespa's lately and have been considering it. Vroom-vroom.

It was $4.20ish a gallon for premium today. Something like that anyway, wasn't really paying close attention, just that my total was $65.00 and my car wasn't anywhere near empty.

But I am heavily invested in oil, so I'm making a whole lot of money off the sky-rocketing prices. (yes everyone can go ahead and hate me for that)

i pay nothing for gas, people are in revoloution for the control for gas( i know i'm lucky). but in syria the modern surffregets(women wanting freedom) are sacrificing their lives for "our so called gas". If you pay for gas you are "lucky", that means you have freedom to question the price of gas. x.x.x.x.x.x.
