At 3 years ''mommy I love you''.
At 10 years ''mom whatever''. At 16 years ''my mom is so annoying''. At 18 years ''I'm leaving this house''. At 25 years "mom you were right''. At 30 years '' wanna go to moms house''. At 50 years '' don't wanna lose my ...mom''. At 70 years "I would give up everything to have my mom here with me''. This goes out to all of the amazing Moms... with LOVE.

Love it....especially the 10 and 16 (maybe because my kids are eleven and sixteen and it fits them to a T)

Thanks! My son is at the 10 year stage (he's 13) and will probably completely forget it is Mothers Day and not wish me. Doesn't matter, I am going to pat myself on the back anyway.

Thanks for sharing that, SunnyD! My girls are in between the 10- and 16-year-old phases (they're 12 and 13), so they've been waffling between those phrases (i.e., "whatever" and ..."so annoying").
And I have a 9-year-old son, and when I told him that because it's Mother's Day I get to kiss him as much as I want, groaned in a very insulting way indeed! ![]()
