http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2..._5037892_n.jpg Sorry the pic wouldnt show up here for some reason

Isnt she a doll!!! My 16 yr old daughter and myself we parking in the parking lot of a store near our home and heard some tiny light whining sounds...Im the dumb one, im like "whats that" shes like a puppy or something...two cars over this tiny puppy was under a car, half way under the right front tire...man i dont even wanna think about what would have happened if the owners of the car would have jumped in and hit reverse. Anyway we went in the store and talked to the manager...nothing, went to the pet supply store down a bit...nothing...so this morning put an ad in the paper...if no one claims her, we will be giving her a new home....OURS! My two kids have already fallen in love, and I have too! Shes just too precious....we think someone just dropped her off there hoping someone would find her...theres not a wooded area around where a mother dog could have pups and then they wonder off...dunno, taking her to a vet in a couple of days (monday) Oh we named her Kate by the way lol

OMG she's sooooooo cute and wonderful you're willing to adopt her. That's awesome. Keeping my fingers crossed that you don't get replies to that ad lol.

You's good peoples!!

She is Adorable!! And it's good that you put up flyers, but I hope she ends up staying with you....(and I think once you decide that you will take her to the vet...I think it means she's already yours! )

I would hate to find out that someone calls you and says..."Oops, yeah....I left my puppy in the parking lot....can I have her back?" because they don't deserve her if they treat her like that. And if someone does call, I would make them offer you evidence that she is theirs and charge them a finders fee. If they do not care enough to have evidence of their dog and they are not willing to pay a finders fee, they do not deserve her back and you should keep her anyways. But that's just my opinion.

Glad she found her way to you guys!!

oh that's a dangerous picture....she is too cute....ya might want to feed her some boiled chicken & rice for the fist couple of days just to make sure she is ok..don't know where she was before, or what she was eating...probably going to have an upset tummy..or maybe not.

i am a sucker for those kind of things too...

someone comes looking for the puppy tell them they can pick her up at animal control..& meet them there..this way they can yell at them for being butt holes...& you don't have to really get involved. or you can say..hey it just got picked up & keep her..because obviously no one just "loses" their puppy in a parking lot without being frantic.

good luck...seems like it was meant to be...it's good when animals find us...

Thanks yall and yeah Elysium thats a good idea, shes got white in a few different places so im using that to help I.D. her but yeah a fee too would be good...and I think anyone who would throw a puppy away, I mean this puppy is just inches long and weighs maybe 2 lbs...maybe....it sure didnt get out of someones car the fall would have broken one of its baby legs or broken its skull i would think

Great job on saving a puppy. I got 2 wonderful dogs that way. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

She's so cute!! Congrats on the new member of the family!
Although hopefully no one is looking for her. I remember when I first got my kitten, I had my window cracked a little in the car on my way home and when I stopped at a gas station he found a way to wiggle out. Someone brought him in and asked if he was mine and I was pretty overwhelmed at the thought that he could've been taken or hurt. But it sounds like it was probably a drop off in your case.

That puppy is soooo cute. I'm glad you are willing to keep her if you can't find the owner, or the owner doesn't care.

Ive been in the hospital because of a heart condition i have, just got out today...my husband took off early from work monday and took her to the vet...she had worms which most puppies do. Doc says shes roughly 4ish weeks old and we are doing right by giving her soft food and supplimenting with goats milk with a puppy bottle...shes 1 1/2lbs and a terrier mix , he doesnt know what kind of dog shes mixed with...he seems to think shes a type of rough hair terrier...shes very very healthy other wise and shes starting to get an attitude...he will give her her first set of puppy shots in two weeks, wants her a be a bit older...he since we have used him with every pet weve ever had he didnt charge us a dime for this visit...even the deworming...very nice guy...The ad in the newspaper runs out today...we never got a single call...we put at all at the Petsmart (without photo) and Target where we found her and nothing...so as far as we are concerned shes ours now....

does your puppy look like my puppy? mine is an australian terrier and was about 2.5 pounds when she was 6 weeks old...it sounds like your terrier may be the same terrier as ours...she is an australian terrier...does she look like our puppy?

Thanks for keeping us updated, Twisti. I"m sorry to hear you had to spend time at the hospital. How kind that your vet didn't charge you for the pup's visit. He sounds great.

she is adorable...

she looks like she has some border collie in her, especially with her coloring and her facial feaures...I hope she brings you much joy in the coming years...our little girl Chibi is now 6 months and next week she gets her last shots and her rabies shot...

i remember how Chibi used to think the blue pads were chewing toys too...every now and then she will do that too, especially when she is bored...even though she has a bunch of toys to play with and a nice warm bed to sleep in. I decided when we first got her and i saw what she did to her toys that she needed to be of age (around 6 months) before she could have a bed because I didn't want her chewing on stuff...and not she does that...she will get going out for potty and pee when she is ready...for chibi...it took her until just 2 weeks ago to decide she wants to go outside to go potty...and yes, I remember she would go if we didn't get our shoes on quick enough...now she is on a schedule to go out 4 times a day...and she keeps her pen quite clean unless I have waited too long and not gotten her out quick enough...but I never used more than one pad a day any more since she has been going out...but I do use the blue pads when it is raining hard during the day...just so she knows that she is to go on the pad when she doesn't go outside...and she heeds to be going on the pad...so she knows the difference now...and is doing very well...I hope it takes your pup more quickly than chibi did...
