Ok it's silly time Anybody else regret their screen name? I'm not angelic or religious but my name is Michael and "archangel" just kinda popped into my head. Sounds so pretentious and I'm sure if anyone thought about it they'd get the wrong impression. I did modify it to "arcangel" because I really liked that band. I would change it but that's just too silly. So...henceforth I shall unofficially be called cowardlytinscarecrow lol.
Bonus points for explaining your name. I've seen some very interesting names here. I think one poster's name is a play on an old Yes song?

My name is pretty straightforward. Tara for my actual IRL name and 922 for my birthdate! Truly unoriginal but hey it works...

Even the moon...I love looking at the moon. I used to want to touch it but then I realized it wouldn't be nearly as beautiful or mystical if I could touch it.

i'v had my handle for 18 years. so weather or not i like it i'm kinda stuck with it now. everyone knows me by it gaming and in forums, e-mail ectt... actually my full name is racee_rat it will grow on you after awhile i did pick it when i was age 10 if that sheds any light on anything simple...my pet rats name casue she was fast....racee-rat...haha yup!. after a decade you won't care as much what it is even if it seems like a lame handle it kind of just becomes you. since i'm also a gamer i think whatever name you choose as being a different person. racee is me in forums and when i play it's still me but with slight differences..... anyways stick with it it'l grow on ya

I chose mine based on the first DVD I could see on my shelf! I didn't want to use a name I use on other forums when I first signed up, embarrassed I guess and not sure how public to make all this/how identifiable I wanted to be. Not that I'm on many other forums to be honest!

BugsyMalone...I also wanted a name unique to the forum. I've only posted on one other mental health forum but I didn't want any connection. I didn't like that board at all. I don't remember the poster's name but it sounded like a play on Siberian Khatru. Great song from a great band.

My name is from my own insecurities and how I've felt through out my life. I've never regretted it. I have a fear of being forgotten. I was forgotten by parents, and my problems were pushed to the side. With friendships my emotions were forgotten, the good things we had were forgotten, and even today I still hate thinking that after 2 years of being together I've probably already been forgotten by my ex.

My biggest plea has always been "do not forget me".

Im fine with mine, I chose it because I like the evening when everything fades outside and becomes grey and quiet, there are blackbirds around my home and sometimes the male sings, as its getting darker outside. In summer the evening is still warm and everything becomes golden as the sun sets, I have lots of trees at my home and one has bright green leaves that really glow as the sun is going down. If my laptop wasnt broken Id put a picture up.

I choose Typo because it feels really unique to me, and I love to read and write and I am currently in school for English and Linguistics, but sadly I am not a grand speller at all, usually my papers get counted off for silly spelling mistakes I make, so I figured Typo sort of captured the irony of that, plus it's really playful

Do you lose your friends' list or any profile settings if you change?

Mine was how i was feeling at the time. OK still feel like that, but its getting better. Most people just call me PH which is fine by me and kind of cool b/c I like chemistry

Nothing else changes, all your stats etc stay the same (transfer) when your screen name is changed by admin.

Ah, my name eskielover has been a part of me since I got my first american eskimo dog.....I fell in love with the breed (thus...eskielover)...then just like potato chips....you can't just have one.....so we ended up with a huge kennel full started breeding & showing. I left my husband & we split up out doggie children...& I still have 6 of me american eskimo dogs....sadly, I lost my first one to a horrible mistake on my part.....a choke chain collar accident that I didn't see in time.....I will never be without an american eskimo dog ever again in my life & Leo is actually my guardian angel eskie.....with him being part of the trio that always goes with me almost everywhere I go.

So why do I have a horse as my sig because I also have horses....I love them too, but like the name eskielover best
