I just don't know where to post this thread, but I thought I would start here. I think I have offended some of friends and others on the forum because of some posts I made in the games area. I am so sorry if my quote about the weather offended anyone. . I made the comment in maybe two or three areas that I thought the weather was "basically hotter than a snake's ***** in wagon rut!" I was just trying to invoke some humor about the hot weather that many of us are experiencing or have experienced in the past week or so. It finally has cooled down here in The Land of OZ! I don't think it even broke 80 degrees (F) here today compared to a couple of days ago where it was 90 + degrees (F) even at 6 pm at night! I didn't do it intentionally - I am just trying survive this almost unbearable back pain I currently have. I have several bulging discs in my lumbar spine. pinching some nerves which means A LOT of PAIN (TORTURE)!!!! I am trying anything and everything to keep my mind off the pain as I just lay in bed waiting for Thursday June 16 when I will get my first epidural pain injection - YEAH!!!

A snake's what?
I don't think anyone would find that very offensive but you never know. Doesn't sound offensive to me. It's only mid 90's here after a few 100+ days.
Hope your pain eases up some...oops sorry to remind you
Take care.

What part of oz are you from? Where I am its bloody freezing and was pretty mild all summer. As for the snake comment, thats just Aussie talk, we always say things like that. What we say might not be offensive, but elsewhere where people might not be so used to raw humour they might look at it otherwise.

Kbear... don't worry. You wouldn't offend anyone, from my exp here on PC, with your graphic allusions to the heat! I agree with you. It has been hotter'n'h**l here as well, and miserable till today. Like you, I'm glad for a reprieve from the oppressive heat.
