Everyone has there own place where they go and think, relax and take time out. I have recently lost my (it used to be my room in my home but as someone has now moved in I don't want to spend much time at home). I just wondering where do you go to have "me time".
I'm looking for somewhere new

My "me time" space is a corner on my living room sofa. When I am there, everyone knows to leave me alone. But, if you need a place removed from absolutely everyone, see if you can find a park or library where you can plop your body down and feel peace.

When I'm able to be outside, I like to sit out on my front steps. I'm in the country, and our house is away from the road, so it's nice and quiet. If I really need to get away, there's a little restaurant I go to in town that has Wi-Fi. I'll usually order something pretty simple and put on some music and my headphones on my laptop and they keep the coffee coming.

I have two kids, so it's hard to take a time out. But when I do, I like to be downstairs in the family room, with the door closed, playing my piano. And when I have time to myself, I like to go to the park with the dogs, just walking around, watching them play and have a good time. That's relaxing for me, and gives me time to think about whatever.

And all the peace you could never find
Is waiting there to hold and keep you
Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry

Mines is my room... I still live at home with my folks and spend most of my days in my room. I wouldn't really call it "my space" "my time out" as I always stay in my room.

If I am being honest... My own place would be walking home from my Psych/CPN appointments. It takes me about 30 mins to walk home if not more so that's when I do my own time.

I recently moved to a new city, so I haven't found my space yet. Mine use to be on the back deck of my parents house at night, or a corner seat in the sun room of a coffee shop back home. I like spaces with lots of natural light or nature, something a bit hard to find here

I go to the library, and go on PC at the library computers.....deep and meaningful thoughts...without being isolated at home...works for me!

Yes, library here as well - nice quiet place full of distractions. Or headphones can be a good way to turn any place into 'your space'. I was just reading a newspaper article about a writer who, desparate to get some quiet space to finish a book, took to riding the Circle Line on the London Underground train all day - it goes round in a loop, like the name suggests, so he could just get on, ride round and round and round for hours, then get off at the station he got on at - and the way the London ticketing system works that only cost the same as if he'd gone one stop!

My place is my room, specifically my bed I'll sit there for hours, especially at night, writing here and in real life, in my journal, or listening to music. I'm much less rational at night and that gives rise to some interesting work.

I just use my room.
But when that gets infiltrated I just use the bathroom.
I know that sounds suggestive, but its true. Haha. I'll take a shower or something.
Doesn't get much more private than that.

it might sound funny but for me it's the bathroom. explain, as a kid if my parents were in the bathroom we were not allowed to knock on the door or yell for them. like when my mom would take a bath or shower or just be in the bathroom. so as an adult thats how i am no one disturbs me. take a long shower or just sit on the counter and read or play my psp. i'm a girl so sometimes i "primp"
anyways it's my space. the movie thatre is another one. it's a good excuse not to answer your phone. no one expects you to when they know you were in there and you canhide from the world cause it's all dark and mysterious

My place is my room as well. When I can't be in there I wind up pacing through the house endlessly untill I can go back in my room. The house is pretty small so I can't tie up the bathroom.
