Kaiserschmarrn!! I miss that stuff so much, and I have never learned how to properly make it. German potato pancakes with apple sauce!

When I was a kid, my favorite food was boiled potatoes with scrambled eggs and creamed spinach. That was my comfort food. Yum!

Now and here I like a nicely cooked Prime Rib steak with mashed potatoes. Or a French Dip sandwich. yes, I like meat.
One of my favorite foods is that salad from the Target deli counter, it's salad greens and comes with grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries, goat cheese and poppyseed dressing. That is something I could eat every single day.

I really like most foods, there's not much I don't like. Unfortunately, it shows.

Your post reminds me of that last scene in the Pixar movie Ratatouille, when the critic is served the ratatouille and it brings back such fond childhood memories for him.

I love those spinach and goat cheese pizzas from Target. I'm the only one in the family who likes them, so when my husband and kids were back East I think I had that for dinner about five times!

I also love wilted salads (i.e., the kind with lots of greens and hot grilled meat and warm dressing) but rarely take the time to prepare them any more.
