I just saw on the news that there has been a shooting about 3 minutes from my house, it's right around the corner. At least one person is dead. That's all they know so far. I'm scared now. I'm glad I have two large dogs protecting me, plus an alarm system, which Im' going to arm in a second. I'm still scared. That's too close for me. This area is usually very quiet.

Ah! That's awful! I know how you feel, last year there were these 4 teenagers who decided to randomly choose a house, go in and kill whoever was there, just because. They only killed one women, her daughter got away. That was only 15 minutes away from my house...and I know people from the town. And I also live in a very quiet area.
Try and get more info, as hard as it is, but it helps. Hope everything is okay! |

Oh wow, that is just awful!
The last I've heard now, two customers got shot, don't know if they're dead, two suspects got away, they're on the run now. Apparently they carjacked someone at the Village Inn down the road here. I just hope they're halfway to Denver by now. I know it sounds awful to wish those people on someone else, but I just want them far away from my son and myself. Don't think I'll get much sleep tonight.
