I am back to my parents house and doing well. Dr. Baker said he thought this one would worse than any of my other ones but so far this is a walk in the park. I have been sleeping a lot but I am sure that is to be expected. I will be working on getting up earlier.

I take my pain pills regularly so I am sure that is one reason I am doing so well.

My doctor is in surgery today so will have to wait until tomorrow to set up home health. So far mom has been doing my dressing changes and stripping my drains. When my drains get down to 10ccs I am to go back and he will take them out in office. I image that will be next week.

So thanks for all the thoughts and prayers I am sure that is one reason I am doing so well.

Jan

Thank you for the update, Jan. I'm so glad the surgery went well and your recovery is also going so well. Taking your pain pills regularly to keep the pain controlled is excellent - good job!

Things are going pretty good considering I am here at my parents LOL. I rarely take a pain pill...in fact I am out of the good stuff and don't plan on refilling it. I have some low grade pain pills and they work just fine.

Home health comes three times a week for awhile and my nurse said it is doing well.

thanks for the update.....glad all is going well for you & you are healing. Parents can be ok to stay with when we know it's NOT PERMANENT.

It's nice to have the pain meds when needed, but good to only use what you need & the level you need.

Keep up the good healing
