I had to leave my abusive husband but I could not bring my dog with me. I miss him, the dog that is, very much. I say good night to him every night and tell him that mommy loves him. I am crying as I type this. cannot have large dogs where I live cannot afford new place
Thanks for this!

I'm sorry to hear that. If i didn't live with my parents, I couldn't keep misty either. most apartments don't allow large dogs, i know.

At 1st I found your title kind of humorous, but I could totally understand missing your dog. I'm sorry you can't have your dog where you live. Does your husband take good care of your dog? Wondering if you could give your dog to a good friend or family member, that way you could visit him? I would definitely miss my dog if I couldn't see her.

True.

I'm sorry. A faithful friend is worth many tears.

I am so sorry! What a difficult situation. I like the idea of giving your dog to someone you trust, so you can walk and visit him. I hope your dog is well taken care of where he is right now. All this must be so hard for you, leaving someone is hard enough in itself, but also having to leave your little furry buddy behind.....

Is waiting there to hold and keep you
Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry
