The successor to the mighty Uncharted 2, Among Thieves, a game that won numerous accolades for its near flawless mechanics and its exceptional production values draws closer.

This time around Nathan Drake is headed to a mysterious city buried in the Arabian Desert. Expect the "you are playing the main character in a summer blockbuster" to continue here, along with a much broader and deeper multiplayer campaign.

Some quick previews

The below is all gamplay:

The story trailer

The sound track, the voice acting, the graphics, the plot,

In a word-Wow!!

If you have a PS3, one word, preorder.

I've not played any of the Uncharted games Tim, but I've heard good things. I think they are meant to be making a movie though, so I might try to catch that when it comes out.

Tho to be honest, movies made from video games don't have a great track record!!

An Uncharted Film was started with David Russell directing and Mark Walburg to star as Nathan Drake, I think the project fell through, and is being rebooted.

You are definately right about the whole Game-to-film thing. The track record of such projects is rather bleak. Unfortunately Uwe Bol holds the movie rights to many games and is considered the worst director of all time.

The two Tomb Raider films were actually pretty passable action romps, thanks to the lovely Angelina Jolie.

The flip side is that 99% of all Games based on movies, suck as well.

As for Uncharted, frankly there does not need to be a film of this one. The game is already so cinematic by design that no movie would ever live up to game, why passively watch the adventures of Nathan Drake, when you can "be" Nathan Drake.
Thanks for this!
