I have a telephone interview this afternoon for a really good senior job with a crown corporation.

Then tomorrow I have a 2'nd interview for a senior accountant's job down town. This is the job that I really really want. It would be a great, get back into the workforce job, and it's right on the subway so I could sell my car which would save me a lot of money and let me start paying down debt and rebuilding my savings.

I really hope that I don't blow it.

Good luck with the interviews. I have wanted to get back in the workforce ever since I became disabled 9 years ago. I am hoping one day to get back in. I have Bipolar disorder. It would make me feel so much more 'normal' if I was working.

I know an interview is a big step. Be gentle with yourself and let yourself shine.

Warm regards,
Sharon

Thank you everybody.

The phone interview went well. The recruiter asked me to make some minor changes to my resume to play up my operations and planning experience and has submitted it to the client. Now I have to wait to see if they like my resume enough to bring me in for an interview.

I think the interview this morning went ok - or at least I don't feel like I massively blew it. But once again, the interviewer didn't ask me very many questions. I did remember this time to ask some questions about what they were looking for in a candidate and explain how I'd fit in. I once again left a hand written thank-you note on nice stationary for the interviewer. I heard from the hiring manager by e-mail saying that they're interviewing one more candidate on Fri. and she's not sure if they'll make a decision on Fri. or next week. Of course I'm totally second guessing myself on how I did because they haven't asked for any references. But that's just my nature to obsess and worry.

Applied to 3 more jobs yesterday afternoon and 2 more this afternoon.
