My mother in-law believes that aliens were here and are very adept at staying "under the radar".

I, myself, am still on the fence.... can't decide....
I do think there is other life out there in the cosmos-- but... whether they've visited here? hmmmm... I'm just not sure..... (wish I was either for sure they have or for sure they haven't-- this on the fence stance is disconcerting for me)

I think they are out there on other planets and on earth too. Im not sure what they look like and Im not going to try and find out as in my opinion they deserve their privacy. I am working on my mental health too, and when I think about the alien topic, it affects my mental health so I have to avoid it for that. But if any are reading this, then I hope they can bring peace to the world.

I like the Drake Equation (Wiki link) as for the odds of finding extraterrestrial intelligence. But the equation has some serious flaws.



I think there may be life out there somewhere in this ridiculously massive universe. I do believe the nearly unimaginable distances between stars and the laws of physics would make it unlikely that we, as earthlings, will ever encounter sentient life forms. But there may be some life forms that are within our solar system reach.

In the past I've been absolutely one hundred percent sure that there were aliens, and that I'd been experimented on by them. (quite what value that could have had escaped me at the time). Nowadays I'm not a hundred percent sure, I'm pretty sure they're "sideways" beings... interdimensional travellers rather than star travellers, but that's just me. I can't be a hundred percent sure there are aliens out there. By the same token, I can't be sure that they're not.

On the other hand I'm pretty sure I don't have a tracking device implanted in the boney bit behind my right ear, and it's been over sixteen years since I made my belly button bleed by trying to pick out the surgical bug I thought was inserted there.

But... I wouldn't think someone was mad for believing in aliens.

Talking to them now, thinking they've stolen your eggs to breed a super race... now that I'd raise an eyebrow at. But believing in the possibility, even the near certitude that they can exist? That seems pretty sane to me.

I sympathize w/ you but I'm a lot more frightened of earthlings than of extraterrestrials

I agree -if there were aliens we would definitely know it. I'm sure some have seen the old film that supposedly the government captured and had the dead body - why would they hide it and why haven't more showed up? I don't bother to worry about it.

There are bigger things to worry about that are much more likely to happen, true. I just wish I could stop - I can't. No reasoning of why they wouldn't bother to come here isn't good enough because there's always the possibility.

I know they're there. I don't know why but they seem to like toying with me, just siting there and watching me... Occasionally they'll actually do something and I'll wake up all cut up and bruised; I actually have a physical brand on my shoulder from one of those times, a nice big diamond.

Of course, since they have the capability to come all the way here we are beneath them, so I think we'll be all right, killing us is a waste of energy. They would much rather play conspiracy and mind games with us; they've already taken the mineral resources they want from us so we're not good for anything else to them.

I'm certain the government has access to some of their technology, after all they've recovered plenty of it. The government won't release it though, no matter how much it would improve our lives, because then no one could make money on any of the intermediate tech generations.

Have you ever looked at ancient alien theory? It's quite interesting.
