Dr. Doug Fields, in a TEDxTalk entitled, The Other Brain, discusses glia, or “glue,” which make up 85% of the cells in the human brain. New discoveries about these glial cells are revolutionizing the way that scientists view the brain, and Dr. Fields gives us a glimpse into this burgeoning area of neuroscience. http://tedxtalks.ted.com/video/TEDxH...ge-Doug-Fields

The talk is about 18.5 minutes. What I appreciated about the talk is how Dr. Fields explains a very complicated phenomenon in a manner that is understandable to non-scientists like me. Those who are interested in the brain and how it works I expect will enjoy the video.
Thanks for this!

i am delighted to live in a time when so many 'discoveries' are being made, and hope these will continue to be translated into more effective measures addressing brain chemistry and personality development. thanks for all your research and sharing,,, Gus
