One of the great attractions our State offers is the Blue Ridge Parkway and one of the best times to visit this area is in the fall when the leaves start changing color, here are a few pics, enjoy

Seriously? What a gorgeous scenery. Did you go there Tim? I wonder how long it will stay like that. Now imagine with alittle bit of snow in place of those leaves would look like.

i love the smokies.. spent some time there when i was getting law enforcement training eons ago...october-november...it was amazingly beautiful. thankfully i lived outside the park..which get really crowded during that peak period but it was gorgeous. saw wild boar...huge & amazingly ugly.

the mountains had so much to offer..it was never dull on the weekends when we had free time.

years later when i was coming home from attending law enforcement training in georgia (aug-nov) i stopped at cape hatteras & wilmington ...on the shore...another great side of the state...

i miss those gov't sponsored training adventures

I've been to NC - went to Boone to go to "Cheap Joe's" art supplies! Stayed in a B & B and it was sooooooooooooooo gorgeous.

Thanks for the photos Tim. Post more please!

LOVERLY! Ah... take me home country roads... the biggest disappointment though : it only lasts a short time (I could handle a full season of that!) thanks!
