I posted the following on facebook:

"Hard to explain to someone who has no clue. It's a daily struggle being in pain or feeling sick on the inside while you look fine on the outside. Please put this as your status for at least 1 hour if you or someone you know has an invisible illness (PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar, Depression, Diabetes, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, Arthritis, Cancer, Heart Disease, Epilepsy, Autism, M.D. etc.) " Never judge what you don't understand."

NOT ONE PERSON REPOSTED IT!

If I were to post a fat girl in a bikini or something it would get shared all over the world!

I even have close family members on my friends list that just ignored it know what I'm going through.....

I'm pissed.

I posted this exact thing a few weeks ago and had the same response.. I copied and pasted it from my aunt's FB as she is the only one (outside my immediate family) that knows of my MI's... But even my mom and sister ignored it!! I know exactly how you feel!

"I totally posted this over 24 hours ago and not one person from my friends list reposted it. (except the mutual friends JoAnn and I have.) I'm somewhat bent about that. If I were to post something cool or funny about the Steelers winning and asked to repost it would be all over the place. This to me proves the point of how these "invisible illnesses" are so misunderstood and simply ignored. M...aybe I'm blowing this out of proportion, but those who know me well should know why I'm ticked off. I'm already over it, but I just had to say what I was thinking."

I know that fear too!! Honestly I don't think anyone on my friends list even reads my posts, as the only reponses I usually get are from my 13 yr old son.. and that's only because I make him keep HIS friends list short and he gets bored! LOL... let me know how it goes, and please don't smash your computer, how else will you chat with us here on PC?

People can be ignorant and stupid. They choose to ignore and discredit the things they don't understand and don't wish to. I'm sorry they didn't take into account how that would feel for you.

If it helps, I would have reposted it...and I think a lot of us would have.

It's one thing to not get it and not repost it, im ok with that...Well I understan why ppl would do that. It's my mom sister husband chruch friends people that know I"m doing really poorly at this time. Am I wrong for being pissed off?

Not at all wrong. If anything, they are for choosing to turn a blind eye to a loved one's struggle.

I didn't delete anything and still NO REPONSE from ANYONE! My husband did tell me he didnt repost it because he doesn't want our business all over the place, he's weird like that. For real though.....can't believe this.
