My best friend of 16 years is moving back in state . I haven't seen her in almost 5 years.

The bad..she's divorcing her husband

Hopefully the divorce is a choice she made to be happier and I hope she does become happier than she was before. Also, how nice to have a small reunion with your best friend! Regardless of the circumstances (however gloomy they may be) it's always nice to see an old friend.

Yes, I'm glad she's moving back, although the circumstances are sad. Will she be moving close to where you are?

She's moving back in with her mom about 20 min from where I live. I talked to her the other day and she said she's okay with the divorce and that it was his choice. Her kids are taking it hard right now but they are getting better everyday.
