It's getting close to a new year.

What will your resolutions be?

Mine are....

1.) Really give my all in therapy, no more di*king around. No more holding back because it's painful.

2.) I want to be more physically active. I don't plan on running any marathons or anything,I just wanna get up off the couch and out of the house more.

3).Stop isolating so much. I am turning into a hermit.

4.) I want to learn how to play guitar.
Thanks for this!

Since resolutions will never be followed through majority of the time, here are mine:
-To win a million dollars.
-To drop out of college.
-To become President.

Seems easy enough.
Thanks for this!

That's why I chose the ones I did, I know they're actually do-able.

Learn to control my temper. Or at least try.

Think of one good thing about myself each day.

Reach out to others more.

1) I resolve to get my physical health under better control (cholesterol, arthritis, epilepsy, heart rate, hormone levels, sleep, weight, etc)
2) To try to regain some positive thoughts of myself professionally, and tame the anger and frustration I feel toward employers.

For goal number 1, I already have an appt with a dietician for the 23rd of Jan.

Right now, it's just to have a better year... as this year has been horrible.. from the get-go.
And to get the hell out of this place that we some how got back into while being clouded in our judgement by hydromorphone...

3.Make an effort to have a social life. Not sure how to do that.
4.Spend less money
5.Be more productive (less time online would help)

I'm going on vacation to where it is warm for the month of February and see my doctor for my quarterly checkup the end of January so I already have one or two goals for January to help make those activities successful.

I already started my resolution.. And that was to ask for help and try therapy. I have so much bottled inside that I really need to get it out and not have another miserable year.

1. To eat healthier and keep up with my exercise plan to lose weight and feel better
2. To reconnect with people (slowly) and stop being such a hermit
3. Actually keep up with my university studies and not leave everything until the last minute

There are a few smaller goals that slot in but they are pretty much to help me try and achieve these big goals. I just hope that I can actually stick to it this year.

1)exercise every day, even if it is only 10 min (seems like it takes that long for some good chemicals/endorphins to start kicking in? after that it's not so hard anymore)
2)eat healthy food with lots of vegetables and last but not least...

3)figure out what having fun is!!!!

Keep coming back to PC - asking for help when I'm feeling lost and confused and offering my thought in hopes I can help others here.

Move into my own place.

Maintain a positive train of thought to avoid becoming inpatient.

Try not to F--- up any friendship/relationships that I have or come my way.

Intentions for 2012:

Give more to worthwhile charities.
Sell and donate unneeded clutter.
Re-do my bedroom and library.
Nurture new friendships.
Forgive old friends.
Clean-up weeds, and plant more herbs and flowers in my garden.

Allow myself to live my life again...
Sign-up for dance, improv, and cooking classes,
Sing and play instruments like I used to,
Run more races and work towards qualifying for the "big" ones,
Spend more time on my race bike and skis again.

Continue to say no to things that poison me...meds, alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, si, meaningless sex, toxic men, destructive thoughts...
And don't give up even if I mess-up.

Change the channel...use up my air miles and go experience lovely, faraway places.
Respect myself.
Let my authentic self be.

Be brave and go visit his grave.
