Where I live, bright red is a very popular color for people with dark brown hair!

Black and red hair or just black and lip piercings look good.

depends on your skin tone. black is great, but harsh.
redish tones look good on most people (i don't like overly intense unnatural red though).

I think it depends on your age, fashion style and skin and eye colour. Poppy Red by Directions is a good one, and Directions does so many colours! Check them out online.

I'm currently sporting a highly awful head of pink hair haha, my advice is this - dont try dark red hair dye on blonde hair!

I like that smoky lavender shade on light to medium colored hair. I also like blue and hot pink and I've seen a dark purple-magenta that was very pretty. The only color that I don't like is that turquoise; it has a tendency to go a little greenish in patches. I liked pierced ears and the occasional nose stud, but that is about it for piercings.

You would think with all the advances in medicine, something could be found to fill those holes rather than that ugly metal.
Gray with purple highlights is a personal favorite. |

Also.... chemical reds tend to wash out. Depending on your natural color, you may try henna for some firery tones. Use pure high quality with lemon for very natural looking redish hair. On blondes it may be bit too vivid... but it still looks natural (be careful when using henna AFTER chemical dye. Make a test just in case, because it may turn messy).
when died first with henna and than with indigo, one can achieve black color (although indigo washes out faster than henna, so it will fade into reddish brown). Hendigo (henna and indigo applied at once) creates a dark brown with redish tint (which I have now, but people say it's too dark). . . . . okay I cannot believe how hippiesh I made myself sound.

Hmm... after bleaching somewhat recently I used Directions Rose Red, then a couple of weeks later over layered it with Directions Neon Blue. I love the colour: it's a neon pink tinged purple, just like that good sky you get at dusk.
I wouldn't use the rose red again though. It's a beautiful colour in it's own right, but it stains really badly. If I go for the same kind of combination again, I'll probably make the lower layer Stargazer Magenta. |
