As I was on my way home, there rang a few noises distinct from the backround of the usual workday. A name was called, followed by a yelp. And so more than once. Nothing in the field of view. A male voice joined in, calling out the very same name. Then a dog running around in the snow, followed by two middle-aged Russians, male and female.
The dog, running away from its pursuers, managed to trick them by going down a hill and circling the two. Then a second dog became visible. With dark and white fur, it looked almost like a remnant of its ancestor, the wolf. The first dog, who was now closer and identifiable as a pug, was chasing the wolf-like specimen. However its male owner spotted the pug and was quickly on his way to the beast. Sensing danger, the mock-wolf fled from open area to the neighbour`s garden through a hole in the fence wire. Alas, the pug did not follow, as the owner`s commands had petrified it. As the male Russian reached his servant, the obedient dog was met with fists. For a few seconds, the seemingly upset Russian would beat the dog. Then he picked it up, carried it to the street and gave it a second beating. As the view was obscured, it is uncertain how this was done, but judging by the cries the man was now using even more painful methods of torture, possibly kicking the dog around using feet. The Russian couple reunited and slowly walked away, the pug nowhere to be seen, though probably in the hands of the male. A moment went by. Seeing as the event had ended, I put the key in the keyhole, turned it and entered my house. Last edited by Martin19; Feb 10, 2012 at 08:49 AM.. |

Another day on Earth, I guess. People can be and are, cruel to the innocent.
