note: its being indoors and stuck around people that make others sick! COLD weather does NOT make people sick! I rarely got sick when i was outside in cold weather, now since stuck inside so much, sick so much much more...
|

Urghh i hate that old chestnut too...weather doesn't make people sick, viruses do! All my family are sick at the minute and im staying well away - im trapped in bed for 2 weeks if i get a cold so they can keep their germs to themselves! Anyway, didn't mean to hijack - hope you feel better soon

Yes ,germs love to spread in the heat and closed up spaces.....winter is always a bear. You cannot just stay away from people or family. The only thing is to beef up your immune system with healthy food and habits and a lot of rest. Even that sadly does not always protect you...

body is achy from thighs to feets and coughs blow out my stomach chest and explode my head! i swear it is the flu! i have such a weak immune system. wheezing, weak and getting worse!

- sorry you're sick. The flu shot, just protects again whatever flu the medical community thinks is coming. There may be one that slipped in or this is an upper respiratory virus. I had pneumonia a couple months ago that lasted over a month. If it doesn't improve in a few days or you develop a constant high fever...do visit your doctor. Take an ibuprofen since this works better for body aches. Hope you feel better soon.
