It's a US Census Bureau survey. Has anyone here ever been asked to participate? They ask some very personal questions. Much more personal than the census survey. And some question are just silly. I consider it an invasion of privacy but participation is mandatory. This is something I've never heard of so I'm just curious how others who have been asked to participate felt about the questions asked.
I'd love to tell them to mind their own *******ed business ![]() |

Are they doing a survey now, in 2012?
I did the long version in 2000. The census worker and I sat on my front porch and she input my answers into her laptop. Nothing too awful personal. She asked questions about when I last worked, education, health insurance, stuff like that. It took about 45 minutes to complete.

I'd heard about this, and I had to to look it up because my first inclination was that it wasn't on the level but it is; here is some info on it. However, I can't remember the last time I talked to census taker of any kind.
