Hi everyone,
I have a job interview for a part time position doing inventory management for Oxford University Press Canada over the summer. It would be perfect for me, as it would slow the drain on my savings, it would get me back into the work force which would be a much needed confidence booster, and it would pay better and be more intellectually challenging than working retail, or at a fast food place for minimum wage. I feel kind of pathetic about being nervous about it, since they approached me, and the president of the company is an old friend, it's just that my confidence is completely shot after having had so many interviews and not getting a job. There's part of me that's completely second guessing the opportunity as well, thinking they'll change their mind about wanting someone in the position, which I know is just my fear talking. But at any rate - I'm asking. Any good luck wishes or vibes would be much appreciated. Thanks. splitimage |

hi, splitimage. good luck on the interview tomorrow! remember that being nervous is normal and shows that you care. the fact that they approached you is a VERY good sign and I hope it gives you some confidence. it's a sign that you have the qualities they are looking for. good luck!!
