This song brings me the closest to having a feeling that is different than my usual sarcastic, anger. I can't quite describe what it is, but I love it. It makes me think of when I was a child and I still cried.

The lyrics also say all that I wish I could.

Take a minute and listen to it.

You could pretend you're in an elevator heading for the 40th floor and this is being pumped in through the speakers.

Missing something,

This song by Til Tuesday brings up similar feelings in myself ~ and always has. A sadness and fear, but some strength too.

Don't Give Up by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush always made me cry, and gave me hope at the same time. Kept me going through some of my harder times during the late 80's/early 90s...

Good thread!

Mad World by Gary Jules. That song was written by my spirit. Amongst other songs. However, this song is ever sung in the disharmony of my own true voice. A special melody that never fails to play me like a fool's piano. It's power over me is uncanny, and remains matched only by a select few tunes that have impacted my deepest psyche like no other be-bop can. Just my opinion that I am only entitled to.
