Stumbled over a site that didn't look too serious, but it claimed that a lot of difference in fingerprints between right and left hand means you were stressed in the womb and more prone to get ill.
Then I read a site on dementia and saying a particular pattern makes you more vulnerable to Alzheimers. I'm interested in some real sites about this. Would be interesting. From thumb to little finger I have following patterns: L: Ulnar, ulnar (almost tented arch),ulnar, ulnar and can't see. R: Ulnar, tented arch, tented arch, plain world and can't see. I have to look at the pinkies later, dang eyesight. |

my first reaction on seeing this thread title was: I guess it depends on where they FIND your fingerprints

The group of the Alzheimer research seems to have been rather small of just 100 people. So I guess that is nothing to take too seriously.
I only have one heart attack print and none of the other Alzheimer's prints though. Yay me. LOL. |

Seems like left pinkie is also an ulnar loop. Found magnifier. Right hand... still don't know.

gosh maybe I looked at my fingerprints in grade school but not since then. this is interesting and a very welcome distraction tonite, thanks. I can't believe how the person kept the description straight! after you look at the photo, you're like, oh, okay, I see what they're saying now! whew!

Finally have all mine figured out!
L: Ulnar loop, Ulnar loop (almost tented arch), ulnar loop, ulnar loop and ulnar loop. (Wow boring hand!) R: Ulnar loop, tented arch, tented arch, plain whorl and whorl (that looks a little like a loop). |
