Just thought I would start a thread. Hows the weather where you are today? It's been raining in Texas for three days strait. Imagine that?

That's a lot of rain isn't it? Are you on the Gulf coast maybe? I would imagine much of interior Texas is somewhat arid usually. Hope it brightens up for you soon. Moderate here in Ontario...maybe 65F. A little breezy with cloud and sunny breaks. Better than Monday. Nearly 100F. Rare for here.

Dallas is about 4 hours ( 250 miles ) from the gulf, at the bottom of the southern plains.....we get high pressure "H" from the west, drawing up all that gulf moisture, the two always collide over us creating thunderstorms and new weather patterns for the east. When that gulf moisture doesn't exist that's when we get zapped with upper 90's to mid 100's.

One of my favorite winter events formed off the Texas coast and then almost instantaneously had a "march to the sea" moment. It produced snow from FL to Canada.

I live in Atlantic Canada, and the weather today was about 15 celsius. But it's suppose to be great all weekend!
