Any tennis fans here? The French Open at Roland Garros in Paris is my favorite tournament. There, so far, has been lots of excitement today, with the woment's #1 seed Vika Azarenka surviving a big scare. Sadly, some players pulled out due to injury including Feliciano Lopez, Frank Dancevic and Vera Zonerava. Andrea Seppi of Italy - a seed - survived Nikolai Davedenkyo in straight sets. (I had picked an upset.) Oh, well . . .

Will Nole win 4 slams in a row? Will Rafa win a 7th title breaking Bjorn Borg's record? Will Sharapova win a career slam?

Serena Williams lost in the First Round today! It was Serena's first ever First Round loss in a slam event. She was 2 points away from victory in the second set and lost! Many had picked her to win the tournament - including me!

The upsets keep coming - especially on the women's side. The number 1 seed - Victoria Azarenka has lost and today, the defending champ, Na Li lost. Also, former champ Kuznetsova is out. If she can hold on, it looks like Maria Sharapova may win and complete a career grand slam!

On the men's side, Rafa Nadal appears invincible. In contrast, Djokovic and Federer are struggling. Don't rule out Del Potro! Also, even though he said he could not win prior to the tournament, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga (the 5th seed) is still in the running just may have the tournament of his career!
