Used to try oilpainting a bit but can't focus enough to even start anymore. I know it can be a great outlet. Art expression in any form I mean. I used to draw too. 3 years ago I stretched a large canvas...primed it and hung it over my bed with the intent of eventually putting something on it. for 3 years there's been a 2ft by 4ft white rectangle over my headboard. Maybe i'll say the hell with it and just sign it. Call it 'White Horses Running in a Blizzard' or something. I have all the gear here to do something but the creative muses all forgot my address it seems.

I find art to be a very useful outlet.
Went to a beginners oil painting class a few years ago, problem is they wanted still life's, portraits etc. and my art is usually abstract. But it still was fun to learn some of the techniques.
I dabble with different mediums. Love clay, the self hardening kind, would love to try a pottery wheel someday.
Thursday night I was jamming, and I pulled out my oil pastels.. it helped a lot to put all that negative junk on to the paper.

I love art! I do all kinds of painting (except gouache). I'm still a beginner so I am not that great yet. My favorite medium will have to be charcoal though. I like pastels too but haven't been practicing on them too often.
