I wish I could go to a Mormon church, but my mom won't let me. Ok, so it began with that Mormon kid. I didn't want do it because of Dusty, it made me think of my dad's side of the family and how they were Mormon. I thought of the benefits of being Mormon, and I wanted to be like them. However, I've had Voices that tell me that I wanted to be with Dusty, but I'd still be running away from him and besides, he ignores me. My plan is to avoid Dusty at all times. I still run away from him. My grandma said she was proud of me for trying to join, but my mom stopped her and told me how much she disliked Mormons, calling their teachings "false" and said that they were bad people. Mormons are super nice, and I've never had any issues with them. They even abide by the rules of the bible! The benefits could have changed many things in my life, but mom won't let me go to the church. She hates religion and wants me to only go to a Non-Denominational church. She pointed out every flaw in all religions and said they were bad people. To this point, it makes me think of how unfair it is to criticize every person in their religious beliefs. I'm near the brink of angry tears as I send this to you guys |

Well, it's unfair of your mom to call religious people, 'bad' people. It doesn't matter WHAT church people belong to -- Most people believe in GOD, and since we mostly believe that there is only ONE God, that's all that's necessary. So it doesn't really matter that much WHAT church anyone goes to, as long as they believe in God, right?
But i don't judge atheists either, as that's their right. It's just that I believe in God. We shouldn't judge ANYONE. The ONLY judge is God. So it's really not nice of your mom to judge religious people. Best of luck and God bless. Hugs, Lee |
