As for setting up an e-mail account that doesn't include your name, what about using one of the e-mail providers like google mail, yahoo or juno? |

You could also try blocking that email address. It has worked for me. Sometimes, bulk senders will change their email address every few months to get around this, so you have to update blocking regularly.

Gmail, works great, you can make up any user name you want, well you have to come up with one that isn't already in use.
gmail.com takes less than 5 minutes to set up

Second, block the e-mails. In most cases, this will work, however, there are ways for a blocked e-mail address to still get into your inbox (not just by hacking or malware). If that happens, just block the subsequent e-mail addresses. Lastly, create a free e-mail account. When I sign up to a forum or something online, I may create an e-mail dedicated only to that so I won't receive any such spam in my other e-mail accounts. There are many free services out there, such as Yahoo! and Google. You need not fill in all the information and when people make fake addresses, they usually put false information in there, such as for postal code, country, etc... . If you include an alternate e-mail address, then remember you may receive the e-mails to that address as well. For both of these services you can get an e-mail address in literally a couple of minutes. |
