So we have a lot of creative peeps on here, artists, writers, etc.

So I was thinking maybe we could put a book together and all collaborate together....then maybe sell it on here or maybe even to the public and then donate the proceeds to a charity we all agree on.....

we could all vote on the title, have people submit ideas for cover art, vote on that etc......

of course we can all be anon....and not use real names or our usernames....

we could even include personal stories, successes, etc.....

just thought it would be a good way to develop awareness....and celebrate people on PC...

any thoughts, ideas??????

I'd be down with that; it would be cool to have some of my insect photography published.

Great idea Trish. I posted a while back about getting some of the work of painters and artists here shown and maybe sold. I'm sure some of the artists could use the money and/or appreciate having their work shown.
Poetry is a lot harder for me to understand and appreciate but I'm sure there is also some great poetry posted here.
And as Mr V pointed out there is some fine photography here.

Some years ago, a poetry book of poetry of members of PC was published and sold. I do not know where the proceeds went. It is called "Silent No More". I have a cherished copy that a member bought for me and kindly posted to me here in South Africa.

Would love to do this. I write poetry and short stories, and have experience with editing - so I offer up my services (free and such) for editing and whatnot at any rate. I think collabs are awesome, healing. I'm totally down for this.

Wow Triciadrich, interesting! Organizing and editing etc would be a tough job but the concept sounds very unique and salable.

I'd even send the painting some where for better pic to be taken that what I did, even let PC keep it if they wanted to-- I don't think it would go for much though to be frank-- 2 dollar... but still
