There are some things I know about computers, and a whole lot I don't know. I refuse to feel like this is some kind of giant failure. There's a ton of stuff we need to know in life. It's hard to keep up with it all, with the way technology keeps changing! I have a limited amount of energy, and I have to ration it out and decide what's important. I've decided I only need to know enough about computers to keep my head above water. Right now I'm working on finding resources I can ask questions to when I get confused. Don't feel like a failure, if that's where you're coming from. Find people or resources you can ask, that way you don't have to know it all yourself!!!

Some people have a knack and some of us struggle. I know a little but I'm far from a geek and what I know didn't come easy. There are a few people here who seem to be really at home with most aspects of using a computer. Is it hardware, software, surfing the net or what that gives you problems?

I know enough about computers and most other gadgetry to get me by but i am by no means a techno-wizard. Perhaps get a PC guide or go to some evening classes - to my mind you only need to know as much as you need...unless you've a job which requires a lot of know how i would say understanding some basic troubleshooting, how to use some office programmes and the internet is enough really. Just my thoughts.
