It is FIERCE out there!!!!
 The wind is blowing at least 40 miles an hour and the cold goes right through my jacket!!!Hey, Mr. Weatherman! This is SOUTHERN California! East Winds are supposed to be HOT!! My heater has been going pretty stead at 70 degrees and it's STILL cold in here!! Has anyone ever figured out why the doors in mobile homes HAVE to be two inches shorter than the dang door??? WHY??? bbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have no idea!! That's strange!!
Hmmmm, cold? You want cold? Just kidding!! It was 14 degrees here this morning and we are suppose to get snow tonight!! Double Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! Linda

well tomi at least you have a heater.... i have to come up with 600.00 to get a new one.... 600.00 i dont have... it is supposed to be 20 degrees and sleeting here tonight!!!!!

Hey i'm in AZ and the high for the day is low upper 50's to low 60's we are not used to the cold weather -- we wear sweaters when we are in the 70's

Turn the oven on, girl! Then go down and by a couple of space heaters! Can't have you and the kids turning to icicles!!!

What a bunch of Woosies! That's right, you heard me - I said Woosies!!
It's -40 C (I think that translates into about -1000 F) and has been for the past week up here! And it's been snowing almost constantly since before halloween! What on earth are you Southerners gonna do when the next ice-age hits, huh?

Here it is 52.4 outside, humidity of 66 and indoor it's around 75 degrees, I'm in short sleeves!

Let's see it's about 42 degrees right now here in Tucson, Az it's 4:51 pm and it is supposed to get to 29 degrees as the low. The Wind is so strong that it will knock you over
 Last week we had a few days in a row that were in the mid 80's. It is so strange here. Everyone I know is sick or getting sick. What a bummer.

DANG, AS! You must live on the border with the north pole!!! How in the heck do you survive??
Anytime it gets too cold for you, let me know and I'll clean out the spare room for ya! LOLIn the meantime, would you send me down a light jacket from where you live? No doubt it will keep me toasty warm here!

If anyone needs to get a heater, I strongly recommend the oil filled ones that you get at WalMart. You can put it on high, medium and low. It has safety features. It really is very nice.
The one I have is by Lakewood. I don't recommend it for small children, though. Jan

It was 66 here today in Ohio... And tomorrow night into Friday we are supposed to get up to 3 inches of snow !!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS.............

i got a couple of little space heaters for my house last night they have the turn over shut off safety feature.. it kept the house pretty warm... so no iciles here

 We wear two things up here: bare skin in summer and bear skin in winter! Oh.... uh, sorry....Fuzzybear, Candybear, Bipolar Bear, Tymberwolf (and any other warm and fluffy creatures out there!)

I've been shovelling the white stuff for a week now. Its been very cold at below zero weather and today its up to 3 degrees and I am finnaly feeling warmer. BUT I have cheated and dug out my ski thermals. So I am cozy! Tried leaving water for the birds but it froze as fast as I put it out. Does anyone know if they eat snow for water?
