Hi All -- I was given the honor of being asked to be a Moderator. I tried it for a bit, and "tried' to learn all the stuff that needs to be learned. But I soon found that this was not for me. I decided I wanted to be one of the "indians" and not one of the "chiefs." I just want to be a regular and mingle with the masses. I guess in a way I felt like I was spyiing on my friends. LOL

Anyway, I want to thank Dr. John for the honor, because it IS an honor to be asked. So THANK YOU DR. JOHN. I really do appreciate your asking me. I wish I had measured up to the task, but alas I didn't. I'm sure you'll find someone who fits the bill much better than I did.

Thanks again. Hugs, Lee

(((((((((((( Leed )))))))))))

I'm so sorry that this didn't work out for you. I feel badly that I was having some physical difficulties and wasn't as quick to respond to some of your questions. I think we had a communication issue and we were talking about 2 different things....I truly apologize if that was the case.

That being said, I do understand that stepping up to a moderator position can be very stressful. There is a lot to learn, no doubt about it. And, not everyone is cut out to be on the team. One never knows until one tries it out right?

Please know that we appreciate you in any capacity here at PC.

Take good care dear Leed.....it was a pleasure spending some time with you!

I used to be a moderator on another forum, No way that I could do it right now, People think it is an easy job but it's not.

You have to invisible posts, beware of trolls, move posts etc, I found it stressful at times.
Thanks for this!

What gave you this feeling? Moderators don't have access to Private Messaging, do they?

I appreciate all you contribute to PC--please know that & thank you for not over-doing.

I was wondering about that too, Roadie....The question as to "if" Moderators have access to private messages. Not that I private message often, just if I do, I sure as heck would not want anyone other than to who ever I was writing to, read it..
