Yep really I am next Friday

I am terrified of them too but I have been persuaded to go.

It is a very old cemetery and some very old buildings.
Think I will crap myself

Where no one knows the pain you left behind
And all the peace you could never find
Is waiting there to hold and keep you
Welcome to the first day of your life

Just open up your eyes as I lay you down tonight
Safe on the other side
No more tears to cry

I love old cemeteries ... Go to our historic one all the time ... I go in the day, though, so it isn't quite so scary ... If you're going at night, I'd take an extra pair of drawers or two just in case ... !!!

Hope you enjoy it. Take some pics. I wouldn't worry too much. I spent all night in a very old cemetery and nothing at all happened
This is one of my favorite cemeteries. Howard Hughes is there. And a woman buried in her car.

WOW! I would be so scared to do that again! I did that once a long time ago. Try this as an experiment:

Bring a tape recorder as you walk through, and then go home and play it back. I guarantee you will hear noises on there that you cant hear with your ears that the recorder will pick up! Spooky!

Oh I LOVE those!!! My mom and I went on one. I swear to you, we were in one of the building, and mom and I both felt a "cold spot." It was odd...it wasn't like a cold draft. That's wind/air. This felt solid, like it had a definite mass to it, and it was FREEZING.

Suffice to say, we declined the opportunity to explore the upstairs.

Have fun! I used to live near what used to be Camarillo State Mental Hospital when I was younger. Fun times there just make sure you have someone to hide behind!

Was really good but very creepy, My cousin captured some orbs on her camera and my other cousin actually captured some kind of figure, They are coming later so will put them on my laptop and will look at them properly.

I couldn't stop laughing as the people who were showing us around were dressed up and looked scary themselves (4 of them) 1 of them was dressed up very victorian and 2 were dressed up in black and looked like devils the other 1 looked looked like some evil doctor, Was funny though.

Was also 27 of is the group in total, The cemetery was very creepy, People buried in there way back from the 1700's.

You lived in Ventura County Ca when you were younger.....I grew up in the San Fernando Valley....but heard lots about Camarillo State Mental Hospital.

Back Ontopic: The historical graveyards around where I live in Kentucky are very interesting.....what's even more interesting is that most of the farms around me have their own historical family graveyards on them. Very interesting to wander through & all the churches have their own graveyards also. In the fall they give tours of all the graveyards but not at night. The town I live in was founded in the mid 1700's.....interesting wandering around & seeing all the family names that stayed in the area for so many years. First really old cemetaries I wandered through was in Roma Italia......ok, talk about old...along the Apia Antiqua.....it went back to before the catacombs......love thinking back to the historical times of the people who were buried there.

Will be interesting to see your photos.
