Does anyone have one of these-- a samsung galaxy note 10.1
I just know nothing about non iPad stuff

Does the samsung only use samsung apps?
Or can it use android apps as well?

I noticed that the samsung app store doesnt have skype.
I think i saw that android does have skype.
But i assume there must be SOME way to do video chatting with the samsung tablet? If so, does anyone know what it is? Something that is compatible with chatting on the other end with ipad, i hope?

I am not having much luck just googing this stuff, or i wouldnt be asking so many questions, sorry...

The more research i do, the more i get confused i think...its about time to give it up for the night.

Yes the Samsung will be able to use other Android apps, I have an Asus tablet which is android too and I can chat over Skype with anyone who has it on a computer, tablet or iPad or smart phone.
If you're having trouble finding the android apps they're under Play Store in your list of apps.
