Name one good thing about your day so far #3

Saw my besties.

I've been up for almost a day and a half...so do I get two days' worth of, "something goods"?

I tried a completely new recipe, and it was a big hit.

I also tackled a ton of odious and boring paperwork; that is huge for me.

Still have 5 days before clinicals.

Three day work week

my husband called from work before 10:00

I got positive feedback from a coworker!

I found something I thought was lost.

I got long distance phone call from a friend.

I sent about 15 bags of stuff to Goodwill.

A friend who in the last stages of cancer sent ME a get well card because she was thinking I might be a little depressed.

I cleaned out my make up!

topping on my day yesterday:
Put my kiddo in the tub after I got home, while I was listening to her play, she quieted down, then randomly started busting out in song at the top of her lungs.. I can't remember the song name, but she would kinda hum around to the main words then belt out the backup singers words... Wish I coud remember more, but it was nice! I lost it when I went to bed, then stupidly woke up a while ago....

Enjoying some nice warm peach mango tea...it feels wonderful on my sore throat!

Don't have to be anywhere today and with it being so cold, it will be a good day to get caught up on some indoor home projects/repairs.

I got up when I wanted to; and am not terribly groggy, as I often fear I will be.

This is awesome.

I woke up with a fairly clear head and lots of things I hope to accomplish. If I can just get a good start on them I'll feel good about something.

Someone gave me a hug during group therapy. I don't get them often and I really needed one.

I had a very good sleep and my son returned home from his girlfriend's place.

I helped someone get some things done. It was nice to for me to not be alone.

I made sure to give some one that wanted the news paper, the news paper before someone else tossed it (at work)....

My S/O and I talked, even though I got annoyed with things- he eventually did understand where I was coming from.

I have all my mindless duties done, Reminding myself to do bear minimal again around here to stay out of trouble-- How freaking dumb that is, it is what it is here.... and that leads to the good thing of thinking and reminding myself-- what I have in control and what I do not.

I'm not at work putting up with the latest juvenile tripe that vomits out of the mouth of that self-important troll -- yet. God give me strength.

I'm at the pysch MD picking up more meds to keep me sane.

The shoe placed called that the comfy, supportive shoes for work have come in finally and going to pick them up this afternoon. It is sad when good shoes get one all excited.
