I'm giving random hugs today.

I received a random hug

I didn't drive on 100% snow covered roads even though it made me feel selfish to call in.

I am having a "just me" moment. My music, my food, my thoughts, my choices.

That I finally see a solution to a family problem and am at peace with the decision that will in the end help my folks; we have talked about it and agree. My brother is not going to like it, but it is not up to he and I; he has forgotten it is about their wishes in conjunction with what is good for their health. He will have to find his way to respect their wishes; it is not about appeasing him.

Its a great day!! Its my birthday, lovely, except im at work til 5!!!

I was able to make a cup of espresso before the plumber got here.

Now I need another and there's not even bottled water in the house.

Man, I'm a big baby today. It's Saturday, dammit.

Had some good chat time with my son before going to work tonight.

We got ALL of the errands done, and we can stay in tomorrow through the snow! It is so nice to be prepped for Monday already...

I got to see my Daughters Dance Team reveal for the parents today....the Tiny Team rocks! And the older girls? Whoa! The VIP's are awesome....go CDC!

This is for Friday I need to paint a couple of houses and I need an airless paint sprayer and a pressure washer. I can afford one of the other.
I spend a lot of time checking Craigslist. Was looking at the "free" stuff on impulse.
Hmm... someone is giving away a high quality pressure washer... that works
I need a pressure washer so I hit reply and sent an email. It's a very long shot. I've given stuff away on CL so I know how fast people respond when something free is offered.
Five min later the ad is deleted...awww it's gone I was disappointed even tho I knew the odds of getting a sweet deal like that in a city this size weren't good. On impulse I sent an email saying that I know the washer is gone and not to bother telling me because I know there was a ton of responses and I always send a short "sorry, it's gone" message to the first 10 or so emails.
A few minutes later I get a call and a lady said (Hi Michael... you sent an email about a pressure washer. I thought oh how nice to call me and say sorry you missed it but no...she said all the responses were either rude/short or wanted to know if anything extra came with and what was the model and and how well did it work etc etc... she was frustrated and slightly disgusted with their reaction to something free. She said she appreciated my politeness and if I'd like the pressure washer to come and get it I would and I did and met two very nice old people in the process. There's no moral to this story unless maybe it's that sometimes the unexpected happens and it's good.

I spent my day with my sons, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, my mom, and many other people to pay tribute to my Uncle Butch who is suffering from ALS and may not be able to see us ever again after this trip due to its progression. Lots of love flowing around and good laughs.

Took a walk to the park with my daughter and my dog and it was awesome...both were on their best behavior and it was an excellent time for me...great stress reliever!

Coffee, can't really think of anything else. Been way too down for that.

I was able step outside today without high anxiety and do a couple of errands.

I went to the library to calm down and it worked. It usually does.

Thank God for libraries.

I finally had a flying dream. It's been years since I've flown in my dreams---what a great feeling. I didn't soar, it was a rocky and difficult flight but I achieved heights. I'm hoping this is a sign I'm rising, Phoenix coming. ---To all those nay sayers, you just watch, I will rise, take back my voice-my vision- my power.

I got my two miles in, even though I had to go grocery shopping after working an hour late. It was also dark, 40 degrees F, with winds between 30-45 mph

I had a nice hug from a coworker.

i woke up in time and didn't oversleep from hangover

i went to bathroom 3X before 9am for #2s.

I have a "second job" assignment today...extra money...yay!
