I probably still have my dad's old one, since it worked well & I remember cleaning, oiling, $ removing batteries. If it reassembles okay, I'll send detail,

Too funny. Never knew there were motorized ones.
I made my Dad a wooden revolving tie rack decades ago, which he still has. Astounded it hasn't fallen apart. Being retired, if it were up to him now though not Mom, I think he would chuck both, the ties and the rack.
