A St. Louis lunch lady who says she was fired for feeding a needy kid has gotten her job back.
Dianne Brame gave free hot lunches to a fourth-grader for two months after his eligibility ran out, KSDK reported. Brame said the child’s mother doesn’t speak English and might not have understood the paperwork involved for the compensated lunch program.
The child was supposed to be “reduced” to a cheese sandwich and carton of milk for lunch. But worried that he might be teased by other children for the paltry meals, Brame continued to feed the child the normal menu at Hudson Elementary School.
A colleague eventually reported Brame to Chartwells, the food service provider at the school.

I'm glad to hear she got her job back. I saw the headline about her loosing her job and thought about how not fair that was.

Okay then you'll love Rebecca and everybody there... snarky humor is being perfected there
Bur yeah I think that lady is one of those quiet unsung heroes. To me the small good things that people do and never tell about are golden. I just wish she didn't have to get caught in order for us to know.
