Once again I awake to find that one of these:

Santa let me down once more.

is NOT sitting in my driveway

Santa let me down once more.

"Emac" (Elizabeth Macdonald) did not show up to tuck me into bed with tales of overnight trading

and we still live in world dominated by strife, uncertainty and fear...

Santa let me down once more.

I guess I have to try to be better next year...

PS: Call me Liz, Pretty Please,
Thanks for this!

... ok Tim, I will call you Liz if that's what you want ... (jk)

Merry Christmas I'm reading the news in the hopes that peace and sanity may have broken out somewhere. One of these days...

lol... You may be expecting a bit much of Santa, Tim.

Btw, your first photo isn't showing up for me, so at first I thought you were hoping to find a woman sitting in your driveway this morning. I don't know where you are, but here the poor woman would be freezing if Santa left her in the driveway over night.

It was a car in the first picture. This is a duplicate thread.

I'm disappointed too...but in mankind. For us to have peace and contentment, we must begin within our own hearts... and with supernatural help we can be satisfied with what we have.

My Catholic physical therapist was remarking how he heard someone in church talk about how if the holiday is a hassle, it's "YOUR" fault. While I don't really care to cast fault or blame... I think the root of the problem is surely the person (me-or you perhaps?) and how I look at the season. If I allow it to overwhelm me in negative ways, then why am I doing that? We can't do everything, can't expect everything... (well I can but I will be disappointed, I am sure!) The point is this: make the season what you need it to be for you... but I do hope you find the bottom line truth of Peace.
