I got arrested on Sunday and I've been on the "Wall" in Brazoria County Jail, A.K.A Satan's AZZhole, and guess what??? I'm not depressed at all anymore!!! I have spent the last week in the pit of hell, and all those annoying people and mundane things that were so depressing before, are now treasured and cherished like never before!!! All of my problems, which were daunting and unsolvable before, now pale in comparison to what I have been through lately, amazingly. I am so so SO SO SO SO GLAD TO BE OUT!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS AND MY FAMILY!!! COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! IT CAN GET MUCH MUCH WORSE AND YOU KNOW WHAT??? THERE ARE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD NAKED, DESTITUTE, AND OUR PETTY CIVILIAN PROBLEMS CANNOT COMPARE TO THE WOES UNSUNG IN THESE FORGOTTON PLACES. I am renewed, and guess what? I love yall and there is hope!!! So glad to be out yall!!! Yours truly, Lightbulb7

Thanks IowaFarmGirl, it's a whole new ballgame! Wow, I have so much more material for my writing now! I have a new lease on life and I must say, I am grateful for the experience and I am blown away by the need in our society. I want to begin delving deeper into a Prison ministry to help give hope to the hopeless. I was hopeless, I must say, but there are far worse hopeless cases and I have an overwhelming desire to aid in these cases. My eyes are opened to the injustice of our society, I am blown away. Merry Belated Christmas Yall!
Thanks for this!

I have often thought of prison ministry type stuff but I wonder if I'm too gullible. Aside from being too lazy.

Yes! I was there through Christmas, which is my Daughter's birthday! It was truly horrible yall, I was naked and destitute! When I got there, they said, "Are you depressed?" And I said, "Hell yes" lol. They said, "Do you want to hurt yourself?" and I said, "I don't even have anything to hurt myself with!" BAM, like a bat out of hell I was thrown into the "Wall" which was Brazoria County's way of making 'suicidal' people 'safe' lol.

I was stripped completely naked and thrown into a six by six padded cell with no clothes, blankets, or light with a hole in the floor to go to the bathroom in (number one and number two, no toilet paper, that cost money from commissary lol) I was deprived of food, water, clothes and light for twelve hours and I literally was completely hopeless. I could hear the jailers out the door saying, "Nobody has called for her, it's obvious they want her here" etc. (which wasn't true but played mind games with me anyhow)

Twelve freezing cold hours on the concrete floor later, a mental health man came and opened a window and asked me, "Are you depressed? Do you want to hurt yourself?" and I said, "No, I want to live! I love life! I am so happy!" LMFAO! So they took me out and put me in solitary confinement and I got orange prison garb with orange crocks but still had no human contact for the next four days. I was denied my phone call to boot, which my family had hell and high water finding me!

I was on my way to a Christmas party at my Mom and Sister's house when I was pulled over, and my husband was told I was put here and there, no one could find out where I was. I WENT CRAZY LOL. But I'm back now and I am so grateful. Love yall!!! Yours truly, Lightbulb7

P.S. I will share with yall the tales from the dark side as soon as I soak up some time with my family (we are having our Christmas late this year lol) I have so many new ideas for nonfiction stories such as "A Time like This" and "Woes Unsung" which have practically written themselves the last few days. I just couldn't make this stuff up lol.

Goodness gracious, I just read your response from 11:18 pm on 12/26, and I cannot believe that's what you went through. Ughhhh! What an awful way to treat you. I don't understand why you were not allowed to call your family. How is your family going to know where you are at if no one tells them?? The whole thing sounds frustratingly traumatic.

I hope you've enjoyed your time back home so far.
