Does anyone know of any, I like posting here...but a lot of times there seems to be nothing going on. Like no responses to the posts on the first pages for days and days like no one gets on for a few days every so often except that every so often seems to have been happening more and more. So I was just curious as to if anyone knows of any more active mental health forums.

I've gone to a couple others besides this but haven't found anything as active or more active. I admit also going to therapy seems to get me nowhere so I am just looking to find other options for support and discussion....and maybe even advice but yeah even some of my therapists advice doesn't work or just makes no sense to me which confuses me and then I get frustrated over being confused.

So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post...or maybe its time I try and find a real life therapy group or something I just never seem able to bring myself to do so...since I am worried about making bad impressions or not getting along well with others in the group therapy or whatever I have yet to even look up whats availible.

Hi Hellion,
Is there a question or post in particular you need a response to? I can imagine not having a response to a question can leave one feeling pretty lonely, ignored. Since, I began posting here I notice people respond more to the "hot topics" or forums they feel more connected to. Have you considered the chat room option?
On another hand, I encourage you to try Group therapy. Your apprehensions may be more exaggerated than what it will actually be like. I've participate in group therapy seasons previously and actually enjoyed them. Having a good support system is an important part of the therapeutic process. I've found coming to the PC forum has helped me with some of my barriers. Perhaps the time has come for you to add more support components to your journey.
I hope all goes well for you. Hang in there. And please know, you are not alone.
