Hi.

I have ocd and cfs and agoraphobia so I dont get out.I'm single.I play piano.Self taught piano player, singer, song writer.I love the piano.I even wrote a guide on how to learn to play the piano just like I did but simpler.
I play the piano once or twice a day.I get puffed out if I play too long.My neighbours here dont complain about me playing the piano.

I love old music from the 70s.I collect old K-tel records of those 70s compilations.I got quite a few.I read a lot.I buy books on cars, books on bus, books on anything I want to learn like I just started reading up on digitalm photography. And,because I'm single due to my health problems I've bought several books on dating, how to meet women, social skills, etc so I can relearn while I have the time to do so.I buy books on collecting toys.I collect old toys namely the ones I wanted when I was a kid and I usually buy extra of my favourites.

I'm online at times between 6.30am and about 7.30pm each day.I'm in several ocd forums and cfs forums, hobby forums and I like cars so I joined a few.I'm in hobby/interest yahoo groups. All this keeps me occupied at times. And,I look after my computer by making sure it runs properly.I lost 2 computers because of ocd.Bought a new one in June last year.

Thanks for stopping by.

Excellent! Thanks for the small slice of yourself Denv...you sound like a busy guy and that's a lot of winning the battles right there. I dig that you buy those old toys. I have a few things that I've seen that remind me of long years past and when I'm struck I'll grab something. I just bought an old cap gun with 10 rolls of vintage caps included for 8$...it's on my bookshelf with 3 cap boxes stacked sorta artfully. I've got a few things kicking around...very random 'collector'...stuff not valuable really...just means something to me.

What toys do you have? I may remember some. Were Gi Joes marketed in Australia during the 60s? Aust. was involved in Vietnam so there should not have been some weird export political thing extant. I was quite influenced as a child by Life magazine and their full colour images of SE Asia and the turmoil. The Apollo stuff too as I mentioned in yr other thread.

Great with the piano playing! You had that talent sitting in you dormant for sure. Self taught??? Not many do that do they? I'll bet not.

Stay busy Denv...fuel for livin' that is...well as long as it's 1/2 way entertaining! You seem to be coping with things in some effective ways. Have a good one D. Cheers!

If you can get yourself some lava lamps you'll be in the zone man.

Hi again.

You really got some memories here.

My toys were Corgi,Dinky and Matchbox toys.Loved them.Saved my kid toys and bought more over the years. And,bought hot wheels on ebay.Someone had the mustang versions. So I grabbed a few.Started buying 1:18 scale diecast, the favourite Mustangs mainly and a few Falcon GT models in there too.

I've got some old favouite car magazines and favourite books from years ago.Even some copies of the old kids books from infant school.Bought several.Just love looking back over the past and things I remembered.

We were a piano playing family.I chose to learn. One of the best things I did.Just spent the lasy hour at the piano redoding onto a 4 track tape deck coz I wrote a song and I need to give the woman the song.I've got a stage piano,4 track tape deck/mixer and a huge keyboard amp in my loungeroom.I can record mastercopies at home.

I try to keep busy. There's a lot of nonsense in my life and then there's ocd, etc.

Now that I know I can use my first name here.I'm Chris.

See ya.
