The Subjection of Women is Mill's 1969 essay that forcefully took on a reality that demanded women endure the whims and caprice of a male-dominated world. I appreciate Mill's courage and his ability to get his point understood.

I find it hard to take anyone that sees marriage or any relationship as a power struggle seriously.
