I was collecting antique irons, but I don't have room to put many. And, of all things, I hate to iron!

I have things I want to collect, but don't have the time, money or space for display. I want to collect dogs, for instance. Not real ones! Like figurines, stuffed toys, pictures, etc.

I guess you could say I sort of collect Garfield (the comic strip cat) watches. I've bought a few when I only meant to buy one. I kept seeing stuff I liked, LOL! There's one I'm watching out for--I had a chance at it and missed it! Grrrr! As long as I'm on the subject, there's a guy selling a Garfield watch on eBay who claims his watch is hard to find, rare, and exquisite. He's charging like $132 for it--but you get a free gift with it (yeah, I'm sure it's a great gift worth the extra money he wants for that watch). If you do a search, you'll see there are several watches just like his (brand new), going for much more reasonable prices, probably $30 or so being the median price. I emailed him once to ask if there's something special about the watch that I'm not seeing, since it looks to be the exact same watch others are selling, but he sent me an angry message saying eBay doesn't allow questions like that and if I contact him again (unless to buy), he would report me. Go ahead!

I collect anything to do with a particular children's book character - not saying which as it's fairly unusual and I'm paranoid I guess! People get me things like toys, kitchen stuff, keyrings, all sorts, and leave links to stuff on my Facebook.

It may not be weird, but I'd sure like to collect some paychecks!

I collect books by my favourite authors. I have a lovely collection and they all look brand new as I refuse to bend the spine when reading.

Don't really like collections that much, i recently gave all my books away because i can no longer read because i can't concentrate very well, at least not at reading for some reason. I do have cuddly toys though:

Hedgehog
Fox - Basil Brush dressed as a ninja actually
Small bear with a hoodie
Small bear with nothing much going on
Another small bear

I collect bird feathers. Not just exotic things like eagle feathers and peacock feathers, either. I have a wild turkey feather, crow feathers, even pigeon feathers. I even have a tiny little grey, white and yellow feather from some type of songbird.

I came on to post, I collect turtles....but reading thru I realize I am quite the collector because I collect books and pens and watches as well. I probably have as many watches as I do pens- hundreds. I like character watches and not a single digital one in the bunch. A few fairies too.

I have a huge book collection, if you want to call it that; I don't really collect them to keep, I just buy them and once I read them, I sell them or give them away. What made me reply to your post, Sabrina, is that I also refuse to bend the spine (at least as little as possible) when reading. I keep my books in very good condition.

I collect teacups, though my collection is currently hanging on the wall of my parents house. Once we buy a house, I plan to move them. Our wedding favors were teacups :-D

I have a lot of books, but I don't think of myself as a collector... oh, except for signed books. I do collect books signed by the author. My hubs collects old, antique books.

I have a signed Jodi Picoult book in my collection. Prized possession!
