I told you,
I said wait, I am going with you!
I knew you were going to do it.
All those references to the sea.
I am a g** d*mn poet!
You don't think I knew what you were saying?
Stocking feet my asset!
You have known all along and still you torture me with codes that of course, I understand.
GOD, I COULD JUST SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!
YOU MADE ME WEAR THOSE ****-KICKERS!
You told me I had to be tough!
Well guess what?
I am still following you.
You knew everything.
You promised me,and snuck out leaving you boots behind.
Without a word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have publicly and officially lost it. I don't even care! I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!
and you forgot to tell me, what do you carry in the toe of your boot?????!!!!!!!

If you are here in anonymity, and perhaps read this post, know that it is my love and heartache, that causes me to yell out to you.

I never was that sweet-tongued girl that played a proper tea in the garden. You know I was the one getting dragged back to the porch by the heal of my sneaker, to sit out my time, and think about what I had done.

I do not know the words to write, how sad I am, and how much I love and will miss you. I do not know the way in which to express that you come first, and it is just the shock of your sudden absence that causes me to spit like a boy with his first lip full of chew, and stick out my tongue at you, cause I know you will love me regardless of how badly I behave, and I want you back!

You know my feelings under these dirty, torn jeans and unkempt ponytail. You know my name, and my touching-stone is yours.

Be well, and remember me, please. You, I will never forget.

Fleeing,

Though you frighten me, I love to read your words. I love to feel you kicking the crap out of the world.

You are a gorgeous creature...

I watch you and I love you.

shlump: Another friend has already trained me to be/feel ok in that kind of situation, so I don't think about safe distances.
Thanks for this!

I've never been good at understanding poems and analyzing literature, unfortunately, yours is yet another I don't really understand. That's no fault on your part at all, I'm sure it's good, so based on what everyone else posted, I hope you soon feel better.

I racked my brain, re-read the poem several times and I'm still not grasping it. Can someone explain what it means and how you came to that conclusion?

I understand, Flee and I know of whom you speak. I feel your pain too, but, I know you had a special connection. My heart beats with you in hope.
